Xi Zhang

Xi Zhang is a professor of chemistry at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Currently, he is the Director-in-general of the Department of Chemical Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China (2014~); Vice President of the Chinese Chemical Society (2010~); and President of Pacific Polymer Federation (2016~). His research interests include supra-amphilphiles for controlled self-assembly and disassembly; controllable supramolecular polymerization; selenium-containing polymers; layer-by-layer assembly; single-molecule force spectroscopy. He was selected as Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007.
