Agricultural societies under transformation
November 6, 2012

As food crises around the world continue to raise questions about the security and safety of global food production, a new book examines global agriculture and addresses how capitalist market domination is transforming productive relations in the countryside.
The book, Global Capitalism and the Future of Agrarian Society, edited by Arif Dirlik, Roxann Prazniak and Alexander Woodside, has been released in collaboration with the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies.
