Wall Scholar Ian Williams named a trustee of the Griffin Trust for Excellence in Poetry

We are delighted to announce that Wall Scholar Ian Williams was selected to be a trustee of the Griffin Trust for Excellence in Poetry. Ian replaces Michael Ondaatje, who along with Margaret Atwood was one of the Trust’s founding trustees.

The Griffin Trust administers one of the world’s most significant and generous poetry prizes. It also founded Poetry in Voice, a nationwide program in over a thousand Canadian high schools to promote poetry in English and French.

Williams's third book Personals, was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize in 2013.
