April 25: Chief Ninawa Speaks on the Climate and Nature Emergency in the Amazon

Wall International Indigenous Scholar Chief Ninawa Huni Kui will present an overview of the challenges faced by his people as guardians of the Amazon rainforest and river-basin, and the implications of further destruction of the Amazon for the global climage crisis. Chief Ninawa will also present an outline of his existing research partnerships with PWIAS and across faculties at UBC.
