BC Makers’ Lab Connects Artists and Academics for Climate Advocacy
March 10, 2023

Leila Harris’s PWIAS supported BC Makers’ Lab project was recently featured in The Ubyssey. The project is one of several Catalyst Collaboration Fund initiatives to receive up to $10k support for collaborative research projects and/or events, knowledge translation and mobilization related to the climate and nature emergency.
The aim of this project is to not only spark behavioural changes and discussion regarding the climate crisis but spark change at the level of value and identity, which aims to produce consistent behavioural changes within society.
The Ubyssey
Harris and her collaborators are coordinating spaces for BC-based artists and UBC artist/academics and students to connect, collaborate and create with a focus on exploring the climate and nature emergency.
