Heather McKay, a 2017 Wall Scholar, was interviewed by Global BC’s Sonia Sunger about McKay’s new program ‘Choose to Move.’ Choose to Move is a free program in B.C. that hopes to help older adults become more active in order to enhance their health and mobility in the long term.

Heather McKay’s passion is to build interdisciplinary teams that challenge and drive agendas and through prevention, enhance health through physical activity at every age. McKay’s research at the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies has centred around the positive role of a healthy lifestyle on children, youth and older adults across varied environments.
