Patient Safety Research Leader at the Primary and Emergency Care Research Centre in Wales, and founding leader of the Primary Care Patient Safety Research Group (the ‘PISA group’) in the Division of Population Medicine.

Inaugural Visiting Chair of Healthcare Improvement in the Department of Family Pracitce, University of British Columbia.

Honorary Professor at the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Practice, University of the West of Scotland.
