Geoffrey Corry

Geoffrey Corry is a family and workplace mediator with case experience extending over 20 years with the state-run Family Mediation Service. He introduced community mediation to Dublin in 1991 and continues to support a number of schemes throughout Ireland. He is visiting lecturer on the Masters programme in mediation studies at the Edward M Kennedy Institute [Maynooth University] and is course director for his own basic mediation training courses run in UCD and Northside Mediation.
He facilitated over 50 political dialogue workshops at the Glencree Centre for Reconciliation during the years of the peace process from 1994 through to 2006. He has run mediation workshops in Colombia, Israel/Palestine and Haiti. He has served as Chairman of Glencree Centre 1984-87, chairperson of the Mediators Institute of Ireland 1999-2002 and Facing Forward 2006-2012. He was director of two leading national youth organisations from 1976-1988. Geoffrey has a BA(Mod) in History & Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, a HDip in Education and MSc (Organisational Behaviour) from the Irish Management Institute/TCD.
