This workshop was held Feb 21-23, 2014.
The objective of this Exploratory Workshop is to enable a group of dispersed researchers to meet to identify and discuss opportunities and challenges for patient- centered research focused on genomics in primary care. This group includes family physician researchers, basic scientists, clinical researchers, genetic counsellors, ethicists, epidemiologists, education researchers, psychology researchers, health economics experts, bioinformaticians, computer scientists, and patient advocates. Our goal is to identify and discuss challenges and opportunities for researching genomics approaches to the delivery of more personalized primary care.
