Mira Sundara Rajan

Mira has been Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Glasgow and the CREATe copyright research centre since 2013, and has directed the Glasgow/CREATe LL.M. in “Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment.”  

Mira held a Visiting Fellowship at Magdalen College, Oxford University in 2009, and remained an Honorary Member of Magdalen until 2015. She completed her doctorate in IP law at the Oxford IP Research Centre, St. Peter’s College, Oxford, in 2003.

Prior to coming to Glasgow, Mira held the Canada Research Chair in Intellectual Property Law at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where she was also a tenured Associate Professor of Law and Founding Director of the IP Law Program, a virtual centre for the study of IP law.
