Climate change could be a key factor in the higher concentrations of pollen and other allergens in city air. Urban areas are allergen magnets thanks to the types of plants grown in cities, including homeowners’ ornamental grasses known for spreading pollen.
The CBC interviewed Michael Brauer, a 2017 Wall Scholar, about the effects on of the increasing allergens on public health.
