Our guest for this episode is Steven Reynolds, a Critical Care Physician at the Royal Columbian Hospital. Reynolds is also a faculty member at the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, and a Clinical Professor at UBC’s Critical Care Medicine Program.

In this episode, Kalina Christoff and Steven Reynolds discuss the challenges and uncertainties of treating patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Reynolds shares how his team is working towards weaning seriously ill patients off mechanical ventilators and what this means for the future of medicine.
