Better harm reduction with heart

Better Harm Reduction with Heart was produced by the Western Aboriginal Harm Reduction Society (WAHRS) to document the experiences of Indigenous people who use illicit drugs and/or alcohol. The late Tracey Morrison served as President WAHRS and was a vocal advocate for her community. WAHRS members worked with Thomas Kerr from the Urban Health Research Initiative and UBC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS to conduct peer-driven research aimed at addressing the complex issues faced by the Indigenous community and health care providers. Support was provided by the Wall Solutions Initiative and the Peter Wall Institute.
