Mel Ingram is the Financial & Facilities Clerk and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Program Managers and maintaining records of financial transactions for the Institute. She coordinates meeting room and guest room bookings, and handles inquiries related to Institute facilities. Financial responsibilities include preparing and processing various finance forms including journal vouchers, purchase orders, requisitions, travel claims and advances, honorariums, payments and cash receipts.
Prior to joining the Institute, Mel worked as the Executive Assistant and Event Coordinator for WESTAC, a non-profit transportation association providing administrative support, bookkeeping, graphic design and website maintenance, travel and event planning.
Mel has been in administrative support positions for 20 years. In addition to her graphic design courses, she has completed courses in accounting, economics, website design and computer programming, database development, and time management. Mel holds a diploma in Micro Computer Business Applications.
