The Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies Wall Scholars Research Award is available to full-time, tenured or tenure-track UBC faculty members, to spend one year in residence at the Peter Wall Institute, in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

This program seeks projects exploring immediate solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences to society. Outcomes should aim to implement such solutions through collaborations with community partners.

The PWIAS has funded four new Working Groups, focusing on how COVID-19 affects our society in areas such as personal privacy, higher education, epidemiology, and religion.
